The Bontebok National Park, 240 km from Cape Town and 6 km from the historic town Swellendam, bordering the Breede River in the south and is sheltered by the Langeberg Mountains in the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest and richest of the six Floral Kingdoms in the world. The Park is home to the bontebok, the Cape mountain zebra, the red hartebeest and the gray rhebok. All internal roads and the access road are gravel.

Accommodations in the Bontebok National Park
• (3) Six-bed Chalavans with basic kitchen equipment, wooden anteroom and
  communal ablution facilities. The units are serviced daily and includes bedding,
  towels and soap.
• (21) Shady, grassed camping and caravan sites, no power point, near the Breede
  River, communal kitchen and ablution facilities. A maximum of 6 persons and
  one caravan and vehicle, or one tent and vehicle or one motorised caravan will
  be allowed per site.

Facilities
Picnic sites with barbecue facilities for day visitors, communal ablution facilities with electric lights from sunset to 21h30, Shop with basic commodities, meat, beer, wine, curios, petrol and diesel. Game viewing from own vehicles, Two nature trails starting and ending in the restcamp, Swimming in the Breede River and fishing only with permit.

Cancellations:
• Up to 30 days before visit - full refund
• 30 to 15 days before visit - 75% refund
• 14 to 7 days before visit - 50% refund
• Less that 7 days before visit - no refund
• A R50 processing fee will be charged for cancellations.
