Location
Ngala, meaning "lion" in Shangaan, is the only private safari reserve in the world famous Kruger National Park, set on the banks of the Mapone riverbed, with exclusive traversing rights on 14 780 hectares of the Kruger National Park's two million hectares of game rich African bush.

Accommodation Ngala Game Lodge is equipped with 20 elegant thatched cottages with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and private verandah, nestling under a canopy of tamboti and mopane trees, often visited by troops of monkeys and a luxurious Safari Suite with en-suite bathroom, mahogany antiques, spacious lounge
and pool, in a secluded position overlooking the Mopane riverbed, frequented by elephants and various other game, which is ideal for honeymooners.

Facilities and Activities
Enjoy excellent game viewing encounters on our twice daily game drives in open vehicles, educational bush walks and night game drives. Ngala Game Lodge also offers stunning bird-watching and stargazing opportunities, picnics, swimming pool and sundeck overlooking a waterhole, curio shop, fairytale-like moonlit bush dinners, spectacular bush sundowners and unique activities for children.
