Accommodation Accommodation at Katate Safari Lodge consists of 16 twin-bedded stone and thatch luxury lodges with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower), overhead fan, telephone and mosquito nets.

Facilities and Activities
Swimming pool, Central dining area with upstairs bar and game viewing platform, Lounge, Curio shop, Indoor games, Laundry service, Wildlife reference books and videos, Guided walking safaris, Game viewing in open vehicles or by boat, Cultural village tours, Fishing and birdwatching, and a electrified safety fence surroundes the lodge. There are no facilities for disabled persons.

Accessibility and Information
There are daily 20 minute flights from Kariba airport to the Bumi Hills airstrip which are scheduled to connect with all regional flights in and out of Kariba airport. There is a maximum baggage allowance of 10 kg per person on the flights between Kariba and Bumi Hills airstrip. Lock-up facilities are available at Kariba airport. Guests are covered by Medical Air Rescue Service.
